_g_t_k_P_a_i_n_t_S_t_r_i_n_g

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Draws a text string on 'window' with the given parameters.
     *WARNING: 'gtk_paint_string' is deprecated and should not be used
     in newly-written code. Use 'gtkPaintLayout' instead.*

_U_s_a_g_e:

     gtkPaintString(object, window, state.type, area = NULL, widget = NULL, detail = NULL, x, y, string)

_A_r_g_u_m_e_n_t_s:

'object': ['GtkStyle']  a 'GtkStyle'

'window': ['GdkWindow']  a 'GdkWindow'

'state.type': ['GtkStateType']  a state

  'area': ['GdkRectangle']  clip rectangle, or 'NULL' if the output
          should not be clipped

'widget': ['GtkWidget']  the widget (may be 'NULL')

'detail': [character]  a style detail (may be 'NULL')

     'x': [integer]  x origin

     'y': [integer]  y origin

'string': [character]  the string to draw
